A little about me: I earned my BA in journalism from Howard University with a minor in graphic design. I formerly served as editor-in-chief of The Hilltop, Howard University’s student-run newspaper co-founded by Zora Neale Hurston.

What I’m up to now?: I’m currently pursuing my MA in Journalism at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY as the first-ever Ida B. Wells Society Scholar. My focus is business/economics reporting with a speciality in video. Since this summer I’ve been interning with CNN Business working on video and editorial. I’m currently working on my capstone thesis on women of color in the venture capital industry and preparing for graduation in December.

Where you can find me?: I was born in Landstruhl, Germany and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. I currently live in New York.
